H-Pride pledges to DO our very best and GIVE our very best teaching, coaching, and mentoring in order to maximize your child's basketball and team sports experience.

While we want to be competitive in every practice and every game, your child's mental and physical well-being is the priority!

EVERY player on EVERY H-Pride team must EARN the opportunity to play meaningful minutes in every game by meeting or exceeding the following expectations:

Attend the vast majority of team practices, scrimmages, games, and tournaments

Be coachable

Be a great teammate

Compete with high character all of the time

We do not guarantee equal minutes, but if earned, each player should get meaningful minutes.

Depending on the situation of each game, H-Pride coaches are expected to play "the right 5 players" at the end of each game to get the team a win.

Every head coach is ready, willing, and able to speak with any parent about their child's experience, but will NEVER discuss game strategies, decisions, or playing time.

Parents are welcome and expected to cheer on their child and our team at every game they attend, but parents are expected NOT to coach or use coach-speak from the sidelines.

We will be instructing your child to never look into the stands for coaching or validation. Each player's focus must be on their play, teammates, and coaches.

Parents are expected to make timely payments in order to avoid difficult situations about their child's status on their team.

These are the necessary ingredients that must be present and carried out by all parties to ensure a positive partnership and a positive experience for all.
